Rom. 3, 23

1.  What is sin?  Lawlessness.  Sin of commission and of omission. Use [I think he wrote “Use;” sometimes reading my great-grandfather’s handwriting proves to be difficult.–KRT] in spirit–disobedience.

2.  God says we all have sinned.  Sometime, yea many times, we have displeased Him.  Have fallen short of His glory–“missed the mark.”

Our sins hurt us and others as well.  God wills our highest good and is grieved that we prevent it by our sin.  Will you lay this to heart?  One day in sin hurts forever.

3.  God will judge us for all our sins.  We must meet life’s record at the judgment.  How solemn the truth!  How awful it will be if our sins are not all forgiven!!

4.  Hence we can’t afford to ignore the fact of our sins.  God would have us remember them, repent of them, and be saved.  We can’t afford not to make sure of pardon.  He calls now to come to Him for pardoning mercy.

Will you do it now?
