Jesus is Able to Save   1 comment

Heb. 7, 25

1.  He is the ever-living Priest of God and His power is supreme.  All authority (or power) in heaven and on earth is His.   He has power:

(1)  To forgive sin, to pardon the guilt of sin.

(2)  To deliver or save from the power of sin.  Jesus dominates demons.  Not once has he failed to deliver a trustful soul from sin’s power.

(3)  To save from the pollution of sin, to cleanse its stain, that one may appear spotless before Him.

2.  It is for all who come to Him for salvation.  He can save all who draw near.

3.  How come?

(1)  Come repenting of all that is wrong and committing to Him?

(2)  Come trusting Him; by faith cleave only to Him.  He never turns a soul away.
