Ps. 100, 4

I.

Praise to God becomes every child grace.  It “is comely for the upright.”  Jesus was grieved, saying, “Where are the nine?”  They too, should have returned to thank him for healing their leprosy.

II.

He “has done great things for us whereof we are glad.”  Think what a wonderful salvation he bestows, how blessed is our fellowship in Christ and what a glorious destiny is ours.

III.

In our ritualistic prayer in the Holy Communion service we join the angels in praising him.  What can more become us whom he has redeemed than to ascribe all honor any praise to him?

Let us draw near today with grateful praises and magnify his holy name together.
